I have been completely sucked into the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. It's all I've been reading for the past few weeks. I bought the two they had at WalMart, borrowed two from a co-worker, and then went to Half.com to buy the rest of the series. (Did I mention I have an obsessive personality?)

Now, I dream about how cool it would be to be a bounty hunter! Apprehending the bad guys, fighting for truth and justice. How cool would it be to carry a gun and handcuffs around in my purse?

Seriously, though, just like Stephanie, I'd probably be too scared to ever actually fire the thing. Guns make me very uncomfortable. In fact, I'm just plain afraid of them.

I guess that's why I've always been so enamoured with books. It sounds cliche, but they really do take you to amazing places and give you the opportunity to be whatever you want to be! I'm just a skinny little unathletic white girl who would never pick a physical fight with anyone, because I know I would lose. But, who says I can't vicariously kick ass through one of my favorite novel characters? Not to mention the two totally sexy men in her life...
