Shiver Me Timbers!

Saturday, I found a box of pirate stuff that Connor's Aunt Rita gave to him for Christmas a couple years ago. He was too young for it at the time, but now he's the perfect age. All day long, he wore the bandana and eyepatch, but I never could get him to wear the earring. He spent all weekend saying, "Argh!" and "Shiver me timbers".

His pirate phase rubbed off on his little cousin Reese when he spent the evening at her house on Saturday. Aunt Jessica made Reese a bandana and eyepatch, and they had a lovely time burying treasure in Reese's sandbox!

On Sunday, we added a sword and telescope to his pirate ensemble. Oh yeah, and a mop, too! For swabbing the deck!
